Mission Statement

It ends today, the procrastination which blights the path to success.

Enough is enough.

For a long time I’ve had ambitions, dreams of working for myself as a freelance software engineer, but keep stalling due to lack of focus. Hesitation, fear of failure, this blog-post is served to you, consider this your final notice.

In the upcoming days, I will complete and implement the proposed designs for my website, this goal which I have been putting off for so long will finally be realised. If I don’t achieve this, I will have failed myself, so I am announcing to the world my intentions (theoretically), and will document each day’s progress and short-comings.

I know I can produce software and finish, during the summer of 2012 I released a near-final version of my ‘Poly Peptide Delta Mass and Properties Calculator’, codenamed Peptide.io. Since then, I’ve half-completed projects, released small apps, but nothing of any merit.

I’m tired of talking about my plans, grown weary of my own bullshit I have, this means a lot to me, so I’m making a stand against myself.

Wish me luck, hopefully I’ll take a step-closer with every day.

Tomorrow morning is the start of a brand new day, I will wake-up to an alarm of productivity, which will signal the start of success.

Salute,
Rob PW.
